Currently the new Manager of Solution Product Marketing for ASC, where he has served since January with a focus on the e-Learning industry, Guenter Brast has served in some of the most prominent I.T. and telecommunications companies in the world including Alcatel-Lucent, IBM and Sun Microsystems.

Prior to serving for two years at one of ASC’s competitors in communications recording and quality monitoring, he was a Senior Deployment Manager for four years at Alcatel Lucent, where he focused on product development, deployment and post-production management. Mr. Brast interacted with the company’s largest European telecommunications customers, overseeing pre-sales activities, upselling and critical account management.

Guenter Brast also served as the Technical Director of Europe for IBM web service subsidiary where he built up and managed their European pre-sales and post-sales team. He established partnerships with systems integrators, coordinated headquarters business development, and engaged in product management, marketing and public relations activities.

Prior to that, Mr. Brast served as a Senior Sales Engineer for Sun Microsystems. He was a Senior System Engineer for private Telco’s and oversaw partner, reseller and system integrator sales support.
