ShoreTel Says G'day Mate with Cloud Contact Center Solution

June 08, 2017

Australia is one of the most dangerous places in the world, and one of the most beautiful. And while, when many think of the Land Down Under they see visions of Crocodile Dundee, Kangaroos and Koalas, soon they may think of customer service. The cloud contact center adds the flexibility, features and performance required to deliver an exceptional experience, and thanks to ShoreTel it’s coming to town.

ShoreTel announced the arrival of ShoreTel Connect CLOUD and ShoreTel Connect CLOUD Contact Center solutions to Australia this week. Already available in the U.K., U.S. and Canada, this marks a major move for the contact center solution provider.

“Connect CLOUD gives our Australian customers and partners greater choice and flexibility in how they procure, design and deploy unified communications and contact centre solutions,” said Don Joos, president and CEO of ShoreTel. “The richness of the Connect CLOUD solution combined with the enthusiasm we’ve seen from the Australian channel perfectly positions ShoreTel to drive cloud growth in the Asia-Pacific region.”

Current and new customers have access to the cloud-based solutions, which can be deployed, configured and running smoothly quite rapidly. It’s not always easy to support the omni-channel demands of the modern contact center, but with Connect CLOUD users gain the best in communication and collaboration tools, bringing a natural and seamless experience to the contact center.

“The ShoreTel UCaaS solution will mean better visibility and increased collaboration across our organisation,” said Jason Ash, Chief Innovation Officer, MRWED. “This is a huge advantage as we strive to create a diverse force of remote workers, adding to the MRWED core value of flexibility.”

The facts are in: the cloud is here to stay. And, as ShoreTel is set on expanding its global presence, its timing could not be better. It’s cloud or bust for the contact center; join the fray and enjoy the spoils or sit on the sideline and watch the customer service world pass you by. The choice is yours.
