February 21, 2017

Amdocs provides customer experience software solutions for communications, entertainment and media service providers around the globe, along with professional and managed services. The services it offers to its customers have resulted in accelerating business value in simplifying the business complexity of today's digital ecosystem without neglecting world-class customer experiences and lowering costs across the board. Of late, the company has been receiving accolades from some of the leading analytics firms in the world, and this time around it is Gartner who has positioned Amdocs in the Leaders quadrant in its Integrated Revenue and Customer Management (IRCM) Magic Quadrant report for communications service providers (CSPs).

Just recently, Analysys Mason, Frost & Sullivan and Ovum recognized Amdocs as a global leader in revenue management, billing, CRM and real-time convergent billing and charging solutions.

The Gartner IRCM Magic Quadrant evaluates companies on a number of criteria, including billing, customer care, rating, charging, pricing, partner relationship management, policy management, mediation, self-service, analytics and other related functions. Based on the assessments it carried out on Amdocs, Gartner placed the company in the Leaders Quadrant for its ability to execute and completeness of vision.

Companies are designated as Leaders for showing ongoing profitable growth and global presence as well as being shortlisted for IRCM solutions at large and midsize service providers worldwide. These companies also have to be in the leading edge of their industry by making research and development investments to develop innovative solutions by addressing customer demand with products and services that can execute and deliver the best possible experiences.

According to Gary Miles, chief marketing officer at Amdocs, the company has been in the Leaders Quadrant since Gartner started its IRCM Magic Quadrant report. He adds, “Over the past year, we’ve made considerable investments in our core IRCM offerings, including the recent introduction of embedded artificial intelligence capabilities from several leading AI platforms such as Amazon’s Alexa and Facebook’s bots within our CES 10.1 Digital Care and Commerce systems.”

In addition to the recognition from these firms, Amdocs has also won: IT digital transformation under a five-year managed services contract for Three Ireland; the support of its postpaid billing systems under a five-year managed services contract for Vodafone India; and the support of business and subscriber growth with a comprehensive customer care and billing solution for Biznet.

Amdocs has a portfolio of solutions that makes it possible for service providers to operate across digital dimensions to engage customers with personalized, omni-channel experiences so they can capture the immediacy of today's digital ecosystem. According to the company, it is able to achieve this by empowering its customers with data to make business and operational decisions that are based on insight and predictive analytics, as well as achieving the agility that is necessary to introduce new products to market with new technologies and hybrid network services with the goal of generating new streams of revenue.
