Talk2Rep to Provide Call Center Service to an International Electronics Manufacturer

May 03, 2011

Talk2Rep, a company formed by former AT&T Call Center executives, has won a multi-year contract to provide customer services and help-desk support for a major electronics manufacturer.

Talk2Rep has not disclosed the name of its new client, nor has it detailed the financial transaction.

According to Jim Ryan, Talk2Rep CEO, Talk2Rep was selected after a nationwide outsourced vendor search, procurement, including on-site visitations of our facilities and staff interviews.

“Based upon experience, quality and pricing, Talk2Rep was identified as the preferred vendor to provide support for this internationally recognized Fortune 500 brand,” Ryan added.

The employees of the Talk2Rep were also given nearly 2 weeks of product and service training before being assigned with the job.

Tamarac, Florida-based Talk2Rep paves way for outsourcing customer care services for government agencies and multiple vertical industries such as a healthcare, financial, retail and insurance.

In November last year, the company announced plans to hire up to 1,000 people for work-at-home jobs and at its three call centers in Tamarac. The jobs were in customer service and online chat support for large health care and telecommunications companies.

Work-at-home positions are crucial for Americans at a time unemployment rate is peaking causing a heavy burden on the federal government financing.

Many corporate giants have, however, outsourced their work foreign companies in an attempt to cut operational cost.
