Interactive Intelligence Channel Director Named a CRN 2014 Channel Chief

March 07, 2014

It is always an honor to receive recognition, and the CRN editorial team has recognized Interactive Intelligence director of channel management North America, Ben Miller as a CRN 2014 Channel Chief.

The naming as a CRN Channel Chief is prestigious based on the criteria used for selection which includes channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT channel sales.

Miller, who joined Interactive Intelligence in 2011, is responsible for North American partner recruitment and enablement. Prior to coming to Interactive Intelligence, Miller was the worldwide director of channel sales at Sensory Technologies. Miller has a total of 13 years' experience in the IT channel industry.

"Miller is truly deserving of CRN's ‘Channel Chief' title based on his major contributions to our company, which include helping us grow North American partner sales revenue by 63 percent from 2012 to 2013, and helping to grow our contracted revenues from cloud-based orders from North American partners by more than 300 percent last year compared to the previous year," said Paul Weber, chief business officer for Interactive Intelligence.

It should be noted that last year Miller played a key role in partner recruitment. This included signing new global resellers and integrators such as Cognizant, Integra Telecom and NACR (North American Communications Resource).

"The CRN Channel Chiefs represent the most powerful leaders in the IT channel," said Robert Faletra, CEO for The Channel Company, publishers of CRN. "We applaud these executives who have demonstrated their ability to drive channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT industry."
