Interactive Intelligence Launches New Apps MarketPlace for Customer Interaction Center (CIC)

April 01, 2013

Apple has its Apple Store, Google has its Play marketplace, and now unified communications (UC) solutions provider, Interactive Intelligence, has its own marketplace.

The recently launched Interactive Intelligence MarketPlace site is a collection of third-party and internally developed products and apps designed to leverage Interactive Intelligence’s contact center automation, UC and business process automation solutions. Users will find a number of compelling apps and solutions, including process automation templates, Web services, packaged integrations, dashboards, customizable reporting products and more.

They can stratify the solutions they’re seeking by vertical industry (i.e., banking, insurance, business process automation, debt collection, utilities and more). You can also filter products by country of origin and language, and whether an app is developed internally or by a third-party developer.

The MarketPlace’s goal is to provide a large variety of products designed to extend the functionality of Interactive Intelligence’s flagship Customer Interaction Center (CIC) platform, a suite of integrated contact center applications including PBX/IP-PBX, automatic call distributor (ACD), quality monitoring and recording, skills-based routing, IVR, workforce management, analytics and dialers.

Interactive Intelligence resellers and third-party developers are eligible to post products on the MarketPlace pending a submission review process, according to the company. MarketPlace Partners benefit from increased revenue opportunities through worldwide exposure of their products to the Interactive Intelligence customer base of more than 4,500 global companies.

The company says more products will be added as they are received, tested and validated.

The site may be viewed by the public, but only registered users can download and purchase off the MarketPlace website.
