ASC Telecom and CA Cheuvreux Implement New Solution to Handle Diverse Media in Communications Environment

February 22, 2013

ASC telecom AG, a provider of solutions to record analyze and evaluate communications, and Credit Agricole Cheuvreux (CA Cheuvreux), an Europe-based independent equity broker, reportedly deployed a new recording solution that can seamlessly handle diverse media in an Alcatel-Lucent communications environment.

CA Cheuvreux claimed that it provides clients with access to all the major global markets through trading, sales-trading and alternative execution services on over a hundred execution venues. Its range of services is underpinned by teams of traders, IT experts and specialized quantitative analysts.

The new communications recording solution is stated to be deployed at CA Cheuvreux’ Paris headquarters. For the equity firm, the new solution took less trading floor space and seamlessly connected with different recording systems along with maximizing employee mobility. CA Cheuvreus also realized significant reduction in telephone and videoconferencing costs.

Frank Schaffrath, CEO at ASC commented, “Our implementation for CA Cheuvreux represents an amazing example of our ability, in tandem with Alcatel-Lucent, to centralize communications recording for a diverse global organization, achieving increased efficiency and cost savings as a result. Even more important, the system’s scalable and fail-safe architecture makes it ideal for financial institutions requiring both high business continuity and the ability to accommodate change.”

ASC explained that its MARATHON EVOLUTION communication system is designed for the most demanding requirements of busy financial trading floors, high-volume contact centers, mission-critical air traffic control centers and life-saving public safety organizations. Its VoIP recording software EVOip can capture IP-based communications and can be seamlessly integrated into any IT infrastructure or virtual environment. The features of EVOip and MARATHON EVOLUTION can be blended to support either pure IP-based or hybrid architectures and just one recorder is enough for both VoIP and traditional telephony environments.
