July 25, 2012

Clarity Connect is a product from Clarity Consulting that can handle small to medium contact centers with about 50 agents to complicated enterprise organizations with geographically dispersed call centers with numerous agents and multiple queues. Irrespective of the size or number of agents, if the users have Lync, Clarity Connect bridges the contact center gap.

Recently, the company announced that ChemPoint.com installed Clarity Connect to improve its unified communications platform in the North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.

Clarity Connect lets users considerably channelize their operations in comparison with legacy system by adding a whole new set of functionality, which consists of IVR, ACD, call recording, reporting and dashboards to the communication platform of Microsoft Lync.

ChemPoint is making use of Clarity Connect in many ways. One such way includes the use of Computer Telephone Integration (CTI). The company has facilitated all of its employees to receive important customer information by combining ChemPoint’s custom CRM application with Clarity Connect, the company stated in a press release.

“We made a significant investment in the newest version of Clarity Connect. Quick IVR and the other improved functionality give our clients an enhanced ability to self-manage their environments right out of the box,” said Jon Rauschenberger, CTO of Clarity Consulting. “As more companies realize the benefits of a holistic unified communications platform in Lync, we’re able to add the additional functionality needed for a successful, efficient and productive contact center.”

Recently, the company introduced version 2.4 of ClarityConnect. This introduces some of new self-management features and abilities from quick IVR to full Microsoft Lync integration. Since it’s now a native app for the platform, the major benefit with Connect is its speed. Also, Lync users will see a notable increase in responsiveness.
