Effortel Provides MVNE Services to Samatel MVNO

Samatel, Oman’s newest mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) is launching services using Effortel's mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) platform.

Samatel can focus on key marketing and customer service requirements now that the technical and operational aspects of the networks are handled by Effortel’s MVNE platform. Additionally, the platform enables Samatel to be more than a simple reseller of service provided by supplying operator. The platform’s flexibility allows Samatel to operate customized mobile packages designed for mainstream and niche audiences.

As a multi-country MVNO operating in joint-venture partnership with major brands worldwide, Effortel offers the full range of management services, marketing and operational platform-based transaction processing. According to Arkadi Panitch , the founder and CEO of Effortel, “Mobile telecoms is a competitive sector and it is no longer enough to be simply reselling services dictated by the MNO. MVNOs need the capability to design service packages that meet the needs of their target markets, and to react quickly to changing market conditions. That capability is what Effortel's MVNE platform delivers.”

According to Samatel’s CEO, Dr Wael Taher, Samatel was looking out for a platform and a partner who will complement and make use of their in-depth local market knowledge. As a technology partner and business advisor with several years of MVNE service experience, Effortel would assist Samatel launch and maintain enhanced services for their customers. Dr Wael added, “Our guiding philosophy revolves around five main principals: integrity, respect, professionalism, innovation and commitment. We aim to revolutionize customer experience in the Omani mobile sector and provide our customers with the very best in mobile telecommunications through our devotion to service and innovation. With Effortel partnering us we are very much closer to our objectives.”

For the wholesale supply of network access services, Effortel negotiated with Nawras (News - Alert), the Omani mobile network operator, prior to Samatel’s launch and deployment phase. Additionally, Effortel also helped refine Samatel's proposition to its target residential and SME markets. Commenting on the new MVNO launch CMO at Effortal, Liudvikas Andriulis stated that Samatel would become the seventh MVNO to be supported by Effortel's centralised platform. The CMO added that using Effortel’s core intelligent network capability, MVNO customers can now create a customized brand proposition and provide value added services.
