Contact Center System Integrator Product Support Solutions Named to the Inc. 5000

Contact center system integrator and service provider Product Support Solutions has been named to Inc. Magazine’s third annual Inc. 5000 -- a ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

The Dublin, Calif.-based company, which was founded in 2002 by former Nortel (News - Alert) executives, provides contact center services to some of the world's largest financial institutions, healthcare systems, government agencies and airlines. It made No. 3522 on the list.

Companies named to the Inc. 5000 have to have achieved a certain level of growth. PSS reported revenue growth of 68.4 percent, from $5.4 million in 2005 to $9.1 million in 2008.

According to an article on the Inc. website, the Inc. 5000 was added to the Inc. 500 last year “to get a better statistical picture of the overall economy.”

“With the third edition of the Inc. 5000, we can really start to see the business and economic headlines reflected in the composition of the list,” the article states.

PSS is a “premier contact center system integrator and service provider” focused on “preserving and extending companies' existing IVR, CTI, and PBX (News - Alert) systems and investments.” The company deals in design, application development and integration services, as well as round-the-clock support and maintenance programs for a variety of premises-based and hosted contact center system – including systems from Nortel, Genesys, Holly Connects, Avaya, Siemens (News - Alert) and Cisco.

PSS currently serves 25 companies in the Fortune 500 and more than 100 companies across North America, the United Kingdom and Australia. Clients include American Express, AT&T (News - Alert), Kaiser Permanente and US Airways.

"We have been very successful in helping our clients extend the service life of their contact center investments while helping them transition to next generation VoiceXML, SIP, and SOA based technologies as rapidly or gradually as their business priorities require,” said Todd Funk, president and CEO of PSS, in a release. He added that it is an honor to be recognized as one of nation's fastest-growing companies.

PSS made news in June when it announced that it would be reselling and supporting Veeva Systems’ VBioPharma SaaS (News - Alert) CRM application.
