Girls Incorporated Deploys Force.com Sites from Salesforce.com

The Salesforce.com Foundation, which specializes in integrating philanthropy and business, has announced that Girls Inc., a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, is deploying Force.com Sites from salesforce.com to help the organization manage relationships with all of its diverse constituents, including donors, volunteers, affiliate staff, board members, and alumnae, among others.


Officials said that working with global cloud computing consulting firm Navatar Group, Girls Inc. is implementing Force.com Sites as part of its Salesforce CRM solution to integrate online event and conference registration and donation capabilities with the information managed by the staff across the organization, providing a full picture of the ways in which the organization's constituents engage with Girls Inc.

"Salesforce.com's cloud computing model will enable us to revolutionize the way we engage with our large universe of constituents," said Marcia Kropf, COO, Girls Inc, in a statement.

Kropf said that with the new Force.com Sites solution developed by Navatar Group, Girls Inc will be able to manage outreach to the community and fundraising effortlessly and seamlessly.

"Girls Inc. is a terrific example of how salesforce.com's Force.com platform is helping innovative nonprofits operate more effectively, better serve their constituents, and enhance the impact of their social missions," said Suzanne DiBianca, executive director of the Salesforce.com Foundation.

DiBianca said that the company’s nonprofit customers report an average of 89% ROI using the cloud computing solutions.

“To us, there is nothing more gratifying than helping nonprofits reduce their infrastructure costs and increase their efficiency so they can address important social issues like the empowerment of girls," she said.
