Marketcircle Releases Daylite Touch

April 17, 2009

Marketcircle Inc., a provider of Mac business software, recently released the Daylite Touch, a business productivity application offered as a free trial on Apple Inc.’s App store. The launch of Daylite Touch software is expected to change the scenario of the slow processing of emails.

Daylite Touch is supported by Daylite 3.9 and Daylite Server, which will help in the licensing and synchronization for Daylite Touch. The software is priced at $49.99/device/year and is available free for current customers. Daylite Touch will also deliver good business productivity features to Mac-based small businesses.

"Already the U.S. Census Bureau reports that 90 percent of all companies are small businesses, but with new rounds of big company layoffs, there will be even more small businesses and many of those will be Mac based. These people deserve every competitive advantage to succeed and Daylite Touch together with Daylite 3.9 dramatically increases business productivity for Mac and iPhone equipped small businesses," said Alykhan Jetha, chief executive officer of Marketcircle.

Daylite Touch will permit you to monitor a business actively by providing users with the ability to evaluate the project’s status or sales opportunity. It will also allow you to manage your workload and ensure that projects are handled with prompt service and quality. Daylite can also facilitate you with a snapshot of your business life in the present and future to the most sophisticated multi-user calendar on the iPhone.

It is also possible to organize multi-user meetings, send out notifications and make appointments through the multi-touch gestures on the calendar. If the iPhone is turned sideways, users will be provided with a gist of forthcoming appointments. There is also a dedicated task screen, which offers the ability to edit tasks as a whole, build subtasks, and associate these tasks to related projects, opportunities and contacts. In addition to this, tasks may be assigned to other users and status of the assigned tasks can be checked whenever needed.

There is an objectives screen that will display both the projects and the opportunities. Projects can be sorted based on due date and priority while sales and opportunities can be sorted based on close date, probability and value. The contacts screen displays all the linked people and companies and their inter-relationships. By viewing a project or opportunity, linked contacts, tasks, notes, and relevant emails can also be viewed.

Daylite Touch periodically connects you back to your office using EDGE, 3G, or WiFi. The Daylite Server features PostgreSQL substituting OpenBase and comprises the TouchSync system with remote wipe capabilities and supports centralized licensing.
