HickoryTech SuiteSolution Upgraded with ClickSoftware Workforce Scheduling

November 12, 2008

HickoryTech Corporation announced the enhancements of SuiteSolution, its billing software to integrate with ClickIMRS, a workforce scheduling solution.

Working with HickoryTech, Clicksoftware Technologies will help sublicense the product and provide ClickIMRS in North America.

HickoryTech has been helping communications providers in dispersing technical field personnel over large service areas. ClickIMRS will allow providers to increase jobs per day, lower time per job and travel, respond to emergencies efficiently and also enhance customer relationships.

“Today’s service providers are seeking every opportunity to reduce costs by operating more efficiently while maintaining service quality,” said Lane Nordquist, president of HickoryTech’s Information Solutions division.

Lane also added, “ClickIMRS is a smart-value choice, as it enables them to do both while increasing customer satisfaction and retention. Inefficient manual processes are replaced in the front office and technicians receive work orders via cell phone or remote wireless connectivity in the field.”

Zvi Piritz, senior vice president of global sales for ClickSoftware, said, “Developing strong relationships with well-focused partners is a key strategy to growing our business. Expanding our channel partner program with the addition of such well-respected resellers as HickoryTech will help drive additional revenue and business opportunities for ClickSoftware and its partner community.”

ClickIMRS features real-time scheduling, reporting, mobile work order management and routing. It helps providers to maximize productivity while reducing operating costs.

A Web-based modular system, HickoryTech’s Solution provides a customer relationship manager, back office management, workflow manager, tariff management, message processing, subscriber billing, plant records, trouble reporting, Web care, directory and carrier access billing system. It includes open interfaces to provide information to third-party products like ClickIMRS.

ClickSoftware is a provider of mobile workforce management and service optimization solutions. It is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts and Israel, and has offices in Europe and Asia Pacific. In related news, ClickSoftware also announced a channel partnership with ePartners, MACS and TSI.
