Cerylion Awarded Key SaaS Technology Patents

September 16, 2008

Setting new standards for collaborative enterprise resource planning (ERP)-class applications, Cerylion, a provider of advanced global communications and information technology (IT) solutions, has announced the award of three core technology patents for large scale composite software applications. The patents include system and method for providing composite applications (U.S. 7,421,716 B1); system and method for dynamic late-binding of persistent object implementations in software-based systems (U.S. 7,421,715 B1), and user-driven, software application model (U.S. 7,421,702 B1).

Taking full advantage of these core technologies, CommADVISOR v4.0, newly released to Cerylion's major accounts and service partners, facilitates fixed or wireless voice and data users to cost-reduce and more efficiently manage all financial aspects of network operations. They can achieve this a single, multi-carrier view of network resources, service orders, service locations, contracts and billings. To persistently optimize financial results, CommADVISOR constantly monitors, measures and analyzes the entire telecom lifecycle.

With CommADVISOR system, there is no need for post-payment bill auditing software or services. CommADVISOR actually automates the financial analysis effort across the entire process of network financial management, before an order is placed, or before the bill is paid. CommADVISOR enables enterprise customers to reduce costs, manage their fixed and wireless telecom assets and optimize their spending across the entire telecom lifecycle by providing a Business Intelligence-driven application that automates key workflows.

All this can be achieved within a secure web-hosted application that is available on-demand, 24x7. CommADVISOR has added a new dimension to enterprise telecom resource management, based on Cerylion's patented Service Router technologies.

Facilitating a sophisticated ERP model for enterprise network resource, CommADVISOR extends that workflow to key network service partners within the enterprise supply chain. This includes AT&T, Qwest and Verizon. Enterprise customers benefit from fully automated in-cycle billing resolution and invoice processing. This also gets rid of the labor or service costs associated with post- payment audits, charge accounting, charge-back reporting and budget reporting.

“These patents address the critical issues in developing and maintaining large scale web-based composite applications,” said Ilan Rozenblat, Cerylion's Co-Founder and CEO. “As software as a service (SaaS) applications evolve to fully transactional enterprise systems, requirements for transactional integrity, scalability and sustainability become mission critical.”
