Acteva Debuts Updates to ActevaRSVP for Salesforce CRM

August 05, 2008

Acteva announced the release of new updates to ActevaRSVP for Salesforce CRM which is available on the Force.com AppExchange. ActevaRSVP enables users to register for events on the existing Web sites and invite any combination of contacts and leads stored in Salesforce CRM for taking part in any event. In addition, their participation status can be checked in Salesforce.

Acteva specializes in event registration, ticketing and payment management services. Its customers include such names like Bausch & Lomb, Pfizer, SAP, Girl Scouts of America, Whole Foods, Craigslist Foundation and several other small to large-sized businesses and organizations.

ActevaRSVP is a simple on-demand business solution from Acteva. ActevaRSVP is especially designed for AppExchange and is ideal for managing all types of simple and free events.

Three enhancements have been included in the latest release which includes Salesforce Campaign Integration which enables users to link their current ActevaRSVP event to an existing campaign. This guarantees that the status of invited campaign members will be as current as their status in ActevaRSVP. Users are allowed to add attendees to a Salesforce campaign enabling creation of new campaigns for event attendees.

Each of the RSVP events will include an Anonymous RSVP Link/URL which can serve as a lead generator. This link can be embedded in e-mails sent to a rented list as well as provided in their Web site. ActevaRSVP considers these registrants as new leads and puts them in the Salesforce queue according to a user’s preference.

A prebuilt report, “RSVP Event Participants and Answers”, is available so users can view all event participants, contact information and answers to RSVP questions. This data can be easily exported to Excel.

“ActevaRSVP’s tight integration with Salesforce CRM helps companies and organizations of all sizes better manage events,” commented Clarence So, CMO, salesforce.com. “These additions will continue to improve the landscape for all involved in the process of creating a successful event.”

“With ActevaRSVP, I know that I can easily create an event registration web page and people can register right from my website. It’s very simple and I feel confident when using it,” said Liz Kimmerly, communications officer at Hands to Hearts International an Acteva RSVP customer who is benefiting from the functionality.
