Aspect Signs Reseller Deal With eircom for Irish Sales Support

Customer contact and Microsoft platform solutions company Aspect has announced a new reseller partnership agreement with eircom, Ireland's largest telecommunications operator. Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based Aspect's goal is to expand its presence in the Irish contact center market.


Under the terms of the agreement, eircom provide sales, customer service and technical support for Aspect's range of unified communications for the contact center applications, including Aspect Unified IP and Workforce Optimization platform products. eircom will support existing Aspect clients as well as carry Aspect's platform products and applications in its sales portfolio across Ireland.

Mark King, SVP of Europe and Africa for Aspect, says that the eircom partnership is expected to strengthen Aspect's local presence, ensure excellent support for existing and new clients, and deliver a great all around experience for customers.

“eircom brings to the partnership a wealth of systems integration experience and an enviable track record in successfully delivering large scale enterprise voice and contact center solutions,” said King. “eircom has the most extensive sales and support organization of its kind within the Irish market – and its experience of deploying Microsoft-based unified communications solutions is unparalleled. It is great news for Aspect and for all our Irish customers.”

eircom will expand its portfolio of call center solutions offerings with the signing of the deal. The Republic of Ireland has a strong presence in call center outsourcing for English-speaking countries, and is considered a “near shore” location for many companies in the UK and North America.

Aspect is not a stranger to Ireland. Late last year, the company opened two new facilities in Galway to provide customer technical support, software production and distribution, and serve as a shared services center for select administrative functions.
