TeleTech to Open New Customer Experience Center in McAllen, Texas

Customer experience business solutions provider TeleTech Holdings, Inc. is continuing its growth with the recently opened a new, 35,000 square-foot customer experience center in McAllen, Texas, which will contribute to a large number of career paths for the citizens of the Rio Grande Valley. This is the seventh customer experience center that TeleTech has opened in the U.S. in the last two years.


Located at 1812 S. 16th Street, McAllen, TX 78503, the center will initially create more than 200 jobs in the surrounding area and will later expand up to 600 positions.

Officials said that the new center will offer an array of customer service experience and multichannel communications services on behalf of a nationally-recognized bank.

"McAllen was a natural choice for TeleTech's domestic expansion for a number of reasons, including a strong and talented labor market and the community's innovative and progressive attitude towards education," said Martin DeGhetto, chief operations officer at TeleTech. "Additionally, access to McAllen's more than 50,000 local higher education students and population growth of three times the national average create a constant influx of new talent to the local area."

Opening in the first quarter of 2015, the center will be hiring for a variety of jobs serving a major TeleTech client in the financial services industry. Currently, the company is accepting applications for Customer service representatives, Team leads, Trainers, Recruiters, Technical assistance and IT specialists, Operations managers and Facilities staff.
