April 17, 2014

IHS GmbH, a provider of technology and marketing solutions to the global hotel industry, recently announced that it has completed the acquisition of InnLink LLC, a provider of central reservations solutions based in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

InnLink has over 22 years of experience and is a trusted partner in Central Reservation Services for more than 7,000 hotels, resorts, inns, bed & breakfasts, condominiums and extended-stay properties. Since 1991, InnLink has worked with hotels to increase visibility and maximize revenue potential while staying competitive in the marketplace. InnLink’s services help users navigate the ever-changing landscape of GDS, travel agents and travel sites. The experienced experts of the company enable users to get their hotel connected and bookable to over 400,000 travel agents and online travel sites.

The officials from IHS GmbH say the acquisition will help them to strengthen their position in the U.S. market. IHS GmbH currently supports 20,000 hotels in 65 countries, reaching approximately 120 million guests. The company owns three business units other than InnLink LLC. The business units owned by IHS GmbH include central reservations services provider Trust International; the international hotel group Worldhotels; and the sales management solutions provider Nexus World Services.

"InnLink LLC perfectly complements the IHS portfolio", comments Steve Rowley, IHS' chairman and CEO, in a press release. "We were particularly impressed by the company's potential for growth, its high level of expertise as well as its world-class product set and services. Together we can offer an enhanced set of solutions to our customers worldwide."

"Becoming a part of the IHS family of brands is a tremendous value-add for all stakeholders" says InnLink CEO Richard Corso, in a press release. "As InnLink and its clients have grown, so have their business needs. The expertise and resources will surely benefit our clients and staff."
