Reliv Launches 'Customer Retention' Auto Ship Program

August 18, 2008

Reliv International has announced the launch of an automatic shipment program designed to increase customer retention. Direct Advantage also incorporates a customer relationship management program.

The Direct Advantage Autoship Program will "ensure that customers receive their products on a regular monthly basis," company officials say, adding that the program can "reduce the time distributors spend on order fulfillment."

"This is a win-win for distributors and customers," said Scott Montgomery, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Reliv. "Customers never run out of their Reliv products, plus they receive a discount on their orders."

The Direct Advantage Autoship Program goes into effect immediately. Reliv launched the program at its International Conference, where it is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Reliv International is based in suburban St. Louis and has a proprietary line of nutritional supplements addressing daily nutrition, sports nutrition, weight management and nutraceuticals.

Earlier this month, Reliv promoted Steven Albright to senior vice president of finance. Albright also is the chief financial officer of Reliv.

Albright is responsible for materials management and purchasing, information technology, human resources and finance.

Albright, 46, joined Reliv in 1992 as controller.

Last week, Reliv held its second annual "Walk for the Mission" to raise funds for the company's charitable arm, the Reliv Kalogris Foundation. More than 3,400 Reliv independent distributors from nine countries participated as part of Reliv's 20th anniversary international conference.

The event took place in downtown St. Louis and included a 1-mile walk and a 5K run. It raised $68,000 for the Reliv Foundation.

The Reliv Foundation provides free nutritional supplements to more than 42,000 people, mostly children, in the United States and nine other countries. The majority of the recipients are malnourished children in countries outside of the U.S. who receive the supplements in more than 270 feeding programs.

The Reliv Foundation used the funds to construct a feeding center and classroom in the Philippines and a new schoolhouse and feeding center in Haiti. The new buildings replaced dilapidated structures in both countries.
