Interactive Intelligence Part of 2013 Jobs and Investment Delegation to Japan from State of Indiana

Interactive Intelligence Group Inc recently announced that it will be a part of the 2013 jobs and investment delegation going to Japan from State of Indiana. The company will be represented by senior executives Gary Blough, Roger Reeves, and Keith Martin. In a statement, Interactive Intelligence Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales Gary Blough, said, “Since our founding in Indianapolis in 1994 we’ve had many years to develop close customer relationships with companies around the globe, including world-class Japanese brands such as Bridgestone, Canon, Shinsei Bank, Sony, Yamaha, and many others. We look forward to meeting with leading Japanese business executives during this delegation to better understand their unique needs for the benefit of citizens from both our regions.”

Focused on improving customer experiences, Interactive Intelligence earned $237 million in revenue in 2012 and currently employs more than 1,500 people across its domestic and global offices which also includes a regional sales and support office in Tokyo. Based on its business growth, Interactive Intelligence was given the “Best Places to Work in Indiana” award by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and has also been placed in the second position on the Indianapolis Business Journal “Largest Indianapolis-Area Software Developers” list.

Back in 2012, Interactive Intelligence Founder and CEO Dr. Donald E. Brown was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash award. The annual award which was given by Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels recognizes the efforts and contributions of an individual in the Hoosier state.
