August 14, 2013

UsefulTools, a provider of call center agent platform for direct marketers, small businesses and developers, is debuting new online service this September.

The software as a service (SaaS) allows small businesses to create agent scripts and launch live answering solutions in under 60 seconds for as little as $0.50/minute. The robust call analytics and marketing intelligence helps them improve call center activities.

UsefulTools is a startup company founded by entrepreneur Adam Boalt last December. UsefulTools currently serves a large number of industries including hospitality, real estate, automotive, and healthcare. The company has partnered with the top U.S. call centers with over 20,000 agents, according to company officials.

With real-time Intelligence, the company helps business optimize their productivity by knowing who is calling, how they found you and track the call all the way to your sales transaction. UsefulTools also delivers Platform as a Service (PaaS) that can be integrated with the company’s CRM.

The UsefulTools communications engine is powered by Twilio, a provider of APIs to build voice, VoIP and SMS applications. Twilio allows software developers to programmatically make and receive phone calls and send and receive text messages using its web service APIs.

UsefulTools communication engine was accepted into Twilio’s exclusive SIP beta program expanding their current answering solution capabilities.

In addition to offering call center solutions to support marketing, UsefulTools provides integrated communication tools, which include integrations with Google Analytics, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Facebook and several other 3rd party platforms.

Customers of UsefulTools call center solution ranges from marketers who need the phone to be answered for a weekend sales event to small businesses looking to enhance their customer service with a live person answering the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The SaaS offering is available for different price range depending on the agent skill set required by each customer, so it suits businesses of all sizes and specialties.
