Gartner Places CoreMedia in Visionaries Quadrant for Web Content Management

August 07, 2013

Gartner recently included CoreMedia in the Visionaries Quadrant of its latest research report, the “2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management (WCM).” Gartner assesses organizations on totality of vision and capability to perform for including organizations in the Visionaries Quadrant.

In 2012, CoreMedia released version 7 of its flagship Web content management system, CoreMedia, and strengthened its collaboration with major organizations like SAP in order to fulfill potential customer requirements. With CoreMedia 7, both business and IT users can respond to the quickly developing business landscape, which is motivated by mobility, social engagement, on-demand technology and content-focused customer interactions across multiple channels.

Organizations requiring engaging, context-driven Web-based experiences for their customers, irrespective of channel or touchpoint, will find CoreMedia’s WCM software ideal. The WCM portfolio effortlessly incorporates digital and social media assets, augments editorial efficiency and steps up time to market in intricate environments, thereby resulting in exceptional business value.

The organization recently achieved gold level status as an SAP software solution and technology associate inside the SAP PartnerEdge program. CoreMedia 7 also accomplished SAP-certified incorporation with SAP applications.

In a statement, Glenn Conradt, vice president of global marketing and North America at CoreMedia, said, "The explosive growth of social, mobile and cloud has forced WCM vendors to offer more extensive capabilities, empowering their own customers to more rapidly innovate online and create revenue-generating customer experiences. We consider our positioning as a Visionary in the 2013 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management as validation of our ability to build a best-of-breed WCM platform that fits the current and future needs of our customers. In the coming year, we're looking forward to ushering in a new era of WCM, as businesses partner with us to perfect their digital experience management, content marketing and e-commerce capabilities."

The Magic Quadrant is a graphical illustration of a marketplace at and for a definite time period. Gartner analyzes specific vendors against Gartner-defined criteria for that marketplace, which is then illustrated in the research report.
