Evolve IP Completes Acquisition of iPiphany, Semperon UC Customers

Evolve IP, an Inc. 500 company providing organizations with a unified platform for cloud services, has completed the purchase and integrated the customers and employees of two recently acquired companies: iPiphany of Chicago, Ill., and Semperon of West Chester, Pa.


Evolve IP provides cloud services, like virtual servers, virtual desktops, disaster recovery, unified communications, contact centers and more to tens of thousands of users in the U.S. as well as across the globe.

With this acquisition, Broadsoft Unified Communications customers of both iPiphany and Semperon can now leverage Evolve IP’s excellent customer service and get a stable, redundant platform offering additional services. In a matter of 90-120 days, customers were migrated to Evolve IP's award-winning solution with many customers already utilizing Evolve IP's unified cloud platform.

"Immediately after launching our new call center, we uncovered calling trends that made us consider changing the call center's hours of operation," said Daniel Spees, director of ISS for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, in a statement. "Within days of the implementation, we experienced a significant increase in call volume due to a very successful concert launch. Our new call center system allowed us to dynamically adjust the capacities and call handling parameters of the system, allowing us to better serve our customers. The implementation was very smooth, our team loves the new system, and it's nice to finally see them really happy."
