Microsoft Gold Certification Awarded to CosmoCom

June 26, 2008

The global provider of Contact Center Consolidation 2.0, CosmoCom, has announced its Gold Certification recognition by the Microsoft Partner Program. This is the highest certification level offered by Microsoft and has been attained by only 5 percent of North American partners.

The Gold Certification status improves the development and business relationship between CosmoCom and Microsoft, which will prove advantageous to CosmoCom customers. This is because as a Gold Certified Partner, CosmoCom will receive priority information and support from Microsoft for the latest tools and features. They will also receive help with delivering new contact center capabilities to their users.

The partnership also gives CosmoCom greater access to numerous developers across the globe who have years of expertise with Microsoft tools and programming environments. This makes it easier and less expensive to support, maintain, and operate contact centers.

“CosmoCom has always been a Microsoft partner in the contact center market. The new Gold Certification further demonstrates our commitment to developing innovative applications on Microsoft's platforms,” stated Ari Sonesh, CosmoCom CEO and founder.

“Our long relationship with Microsoft includes our recent involvement as a launch partner for Microsoft's Customer Care Framework, which we integrated with CosmoCall Universe,” added Sonesh.

CosmoCom is a reputed provider of IP contact center platforms for enterprises that have large, complex requirements. This includes the need to consolidate multiple locations and the management of onshore, offshore, and home-shore agents; formal and informal agents; captive and outsourced operations; multiple communication channels; and multiple applications. Consolidation 2.0 can be best utilized through the deployment of CosmoCom technology or through service providers that host CosmoCom platforms on a dedicated or shared basis.

The company counts Fortune-class enterprises across the world among its clients. These include service providers like BT, Deutsche Telekom, Orange Business Services, Telefonica, NTT, Tata, PLDT, and Verizon. CosmoCom is a popular provider of hosted contact center platforms for top-tier telcos across the world.

“Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities,” commented Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft.

“They need to trust in a company that can act as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies. Today, Microsoft recognizes CosmoCom as a Gold Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise providing customer satisfaction using Microsoft products and technology,” added Watson.
