Alorica Call Center Plans to Hire 350 More People in Colorado Springs

Whether you’re looking to switch careers, re-enter the job market, or for your very first job finding employment can be really difficult. For a couple of years now, the U.S. job market has been showing no signs of improvement with a steady unemployment rate of 8.1 percent. However, not every industry is declining and call centers continue to show signs of growth.

Recently, California-based call center Alorica revealed it has plans to hire an additional 350 people.

“Our company is looking for eager, dedicated and team-oriented employees,” said Jay McAdoo, Alorica’s vice president of operations. “Our current hiring need is not only an indicator of company growth, but also is an example of the company’s long-term commitment to economic growth for the Colorado Springs area.”

Basically, it lets employees take advantage of a centralized office used for the purpose of handling all incoming and outgoing calls. With new capabilities, enterprises have begun to see the benefits if implementing a call center including helping employees to stay on task, collaborate on phone calls, learn from one another, meet deadlines and exceed goals and even work more efficiently.

Alorica has scheduled an open-house job fair on Monday, October 1 from 9 a.m. untill 4 p.m. The goal is to meet as many candidates as possible that have a high school diploma, know how to read and write, and feel comfortable learning and/or using customer service software. Applicants can expect to see a competitive wage, including paid training sessions, health benefits, retirement packages and even tuition reimbursements.

Candidates interested for the position can either apply online at www.aloricajobs.com or show up at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, located at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs on Monday, starting at 9 a.m.
