Commerce Planet's Iventa, Yesmail Announce E-Mail Marketing Program

April 23, 2008

Commerce Planet and its subsidiary, Iventa, which sells e-commerce management software, have announced an e-mail marketing program with Yesmail, an infoUSA company.

Under the terms of the agreement, Yesmail will manage and direct Iventa's email marketing program.

"Yesmail's Enterprise e-mail marketing product is a complement to the proprietary offering we currently provide our enterprise customers," said Tony Roth, President and Chief Executive Officer of Commerce Planet. "Our Iventa Dashboard System provides customers with a tool that manages their e-commerce Web site business needs online."

Iventa's business management software, combined with Yesmail's Enterprise e-mail marketing product expands Iventa's service offering to their enterprise customer base.

The platform also includes an integrated analytics module that provides a variety of reports for operational analysis and planning.

In January, Commerce Planet announced that Rory Roybal joined Iventa as the Vice President of Technology.

Roybal most recently served as the Senior Director, Engineering for Salesforce.com, where he was responsible for Mobile Engineering, including Client-Server Architecture, IT Operations, Software development, QA, Technical Writing, and Program Management.

Roybal will be overseeing the Iventa Dashboard product line development and inter-company integrations related to building business tools, services and enhanced e-commerce solutions.

Commerce Planet is an online media, marketing, and integrated e-commerce provider selling media products, lead generation services, list database management, e-commerce solutions, Web marketing, call center support and CRM tools.

Earlier this year Commerce Planet announced that its Board of Directors had authorized a new stock repurchase program to extend to June 30, 2008.

The authorization allows the company to repurchase an additional $2 million of the company's common stock from time to time in open market or privately negotiated transactions.
