CRM Vendor Avidian Noted in Washington State Growth

April 07, 2008

Comparing themselves to other businesses and industries from Washington State, such as "gourmet coffeehouses, grunge music, and cutting-edge computer gadgets," CRM vendor Avidian Technologies says it was recently named as Washington's fastest growing company by the Puget Sound Business Journal ("Washington's Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies").

"This recognition means the world to us," says Warren Stokes, privately-held Avidian Technology's Vice President of Sales.

Avidian sells Prophet customer relationship management (CRM) software, named by industry trade journal PC Magazine in its May 2007 issue as one of the publication's four "favorite small business tools." Avidian's designers and engineers say the software is geared towards small- and medium-sized businesses.

Says Warren, "Over the years, our clients have repeatedly told us that they need a straightforward way to stay in touch with customers and ultimately boost sales. After all, who wants to lose a sale over a forgotten conference call or a missed follow-up opportunity? Prophet helps eliminate those 'brain blips.'"

Prophet can be purchased through the main company or an approved Avidian distributor. Company officials say all Prophet Technology is owned by Avidian and backed by a no questions asked, unconditional 30-day money back guarantee.

Last month Avidian Technologies announced the launch of Prophet 5, what company officials called the newest version of its Outlook-based contact management and CRM product.

Prophet 5 includes improved usability and more advanced contact management features integrated with Outlook, "eliminating the need to shift between multiple applications."

Tim Nguyen, CIO and co-founder of Avidian Technologies, says the new version of Prophet allows Outlook users to use Outlook and Exchange with "more sales CRM functionality and improved usability."

The product's dashboard gives a snapshot view of the deals in each stage of the sales cycle along with the projected revenue. It also shows all of the sales that the user can expect to close sorted by estimated close date, and how much business a team can expect to close from the existing sales funnel.

The quote generator creates a quote based on the products or services associated with the sales opportunity. It's customizable, allowing the user to insert a company logo, company name and address information.

Unlike "traditional big iron CRM or sales management software," company officials say, Prophet is "built into Outlook, eliminating the need to manage multiple contact databases or toggle between separate applications."
