December 14, 2011

I Love Velvet announced the debut of the quickest and most secure mobile technology that will optimize the digital marketplace for multiple end users.

The I Love Velvet U-Holster offers optimum security for customers as well as retailers as it is fully encrypted. U-Holster’s unique transaction capabilities help in scanning of 2D barcodes from smart phones, US driver’s licenses, barcodes, coupons, loyalty cards and making NFC/RFID transactions. The “touch and go” feature makes this offering a flexible mobile software and technology, said officials.

In a release, Patrick Bouaziz, Creative Visionary Officer and co-founder of I Love Velvet, said, “The next step in mobility as it applies to the retail and hospitality industries is here. We’re in the final stages of certification for PCI, PTS, EMV1 and EMV2 for authenticating credit and debit transactions that go directly to the bank in a fully secure network, two other key attributes developed by our technology team, for a smooth experience for retailers and customers.”

Also, the U-Holster is the first holster on the market to be certified by Apple for use with the iPad and has a built-in Apple microchip. It features heat resistant capabilities and comes with shoulder and wrist straps and has a build-in stand besides being available in different colors.

According to company sources, the U-Holster’s technology is compatible with iPad, iPhone, iPod, Android and Windows 7 operating systems. It incorporates the fastest 2D barcode scanner with a scanning speed of less than one second when the typical scan takes 15 seconds. This is useful for reading US driver’s licenses, college ID cards, boarding passes and mobile screens. It also has a NFC/RFID reader that allows customers to pay by debit card (with PIN entry), credit card and EMV card.

The other remarkable features are a 10-hour battery life, or 5,500 swipes making the U-Holster a very useful payment or mobility product in the market. The company’s Universal-Holster is expected to offer retailers and customers the best and fastest technologies suitable for the present and future needs. The interchangeable sled, called the U-Holster is capable of evolving with the next generation of smart phones and tablets.
