Calabrio Unveils Workforce Optimization User Group

Calabrio, a provider of contact center workforce optimization software, announced the launch of Calabrio User Group (CUG) targeting its workforce optimization software customers.


From 2007 onward, Calabrio has been building a workforce optimization customer base that currently stands at more than 3,000. The Calabrio User Group has decided to meet for its first summit on 7-9th November, 2010, in Nashville, Tenn. At the first summit, members will share best practices, receive exclusive training, view product demos, and interact with the Calabrio team.

The Calabrio User Group has already deployed its comprehensive integrated suite on more than a million desktops. The user group was formed to provide a strong customer community and collaboration forum among veteran and new clients.

"It is essential to our success and the success of our customers that we work together to evolve our solutions to offer fresh ideas that meet real needs and support our customers' ability to remain fast and flexible in this dynamic industry,” said Tom Goodmanson, president and CEO of Calabrio, in a statement.

“The goal of the Calabrio User Group and other collaborative forums is to engage in robust exchanges with our customers to stay in touch with their goals and challenges, and understand how we can propel their businesses forward in an easy and flexible way," Goodmanson added.

The CUG community is expected to assist in defining the company's product roadmap, enhancing the overall user experience. Members will benefit from a dedicated Web site featuring best practices and educational materials, in addition to the annual face-to-face meeting.

Recently, Calabrio announced the appointment of Brian Humenansky as the company’s new vice president of Development. Humenansky will be responsible for guiding the strategy for Calabrio's software architecture, design and development methodologies. Humenansky will also focus on development, quality assurance and release management teams for all Calabrio products.
