TelecomCell to Distribute Telenity's Canvas USSD Service Center Solution in MEA

Telenity has partnered with Telecom Technology Cell (TelecomCell) for the resell and distribution of its advanced Canvas USSD, or Unstructured Supplementary Service Data, Service Center solution to enterprises in Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.


The company’s USSD product portfolio includes Canvas USSD Service Center, USSD Service Creation Environment, USSD Gateway and Browser and customer specific USSD applications. These products are already deployed in nearly 20 mobile networks across MEA and APAC serving more than 200 million subscribers.

With Telenity’s USSD product portfolio, operators can extend a variety of advanced applications to their subscribers via menu-driven, interactive USSD services like checking account balances, sports results, news, weather information, surveys, polls, mobile chat and mobile collect call.

The graphical user interface (GUI) for service creation and user-friendly Web portal to easily design dynamic and static menu structures enable Telenity USSD portfolio to faster development and deployment of USSD applications and services.

Ahmet Ozalp, CEO at Telenity, said that USSD is the best cross platform mobile technology in offering low-cost, immediate, and interactive services that are accessible on any device, any time, anywhere enabling an easy-to-use user experience.

USSD technology allows companies to offer quick and interactive access to enterprise services -- balance checks, customer service, flight schedules and booking status and order status -- with the dial of a simple short code.

Additionally, Telenity augments its USSD based offerings with native smartphone applications for richer experience. Thanks to this, operators and enterprises can offer a consistent user experience across all devices and platforms.
