Saudi Arabian ISP to Resell Mitel IP Communications Solutions

Nesma, a Saudi Arabian private Internet Service Provider, is to become a reseller of Mitel’s (News - Alert) rich portfolio of IP communications solutions. Under the agreement, Riyadh-based Nesma will take Mitel’s range of IP Communications platforms to market, including the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP) that scales from 10 to 65,000 users in a single network configuration.

In addition, Nesma will deploy Mitel’s portfolio of innovative applications, including the Mitel Customer Interaction Suite. This will fulfill the needs of contact centers, and unified communications applications that offer customers value-added solutions for mobility, teleworking, speech-enabled unified messaging, voice mail, collaboration, presence, video conferencing, and wireless communications.

Eng. Ousama F. Najjar, vice president, Nesma Advanced Technology said the partnership with Mitel is a key element to Nesma’s growth strategy in KSA. He emphasized that this agreement demonstrates Nesma’s commitment to providing their customers with best-of-breed technologies across its entire portfolio.

Najjar added that whether it be Mitel’s IP Communication solutions, or Nesma’s other corporate offerings, such as DSL services, Web hosting, or VPN solutions, the ISP always strives to fulfill all its customers’ needs. Nesma recognizes that Mitel’s enterprise communications systems are being rolled out by well known service providers and internationally recognized brands, and is confident they have decided to go with the best technological platform and that their partnership in addressing the huge Saudi market will be very fruitful.

Expressing his company’s delight to work with Saudi’s number one ISP, Hisham Amili, Mitel GM, GCC said they are at the forefront of delivering IP services and mobility to all segments of this growing market.

Amli said that KSA is not only the largest IP market in the region, but also the fastest growing in all vertical markets and sectors. He noted that, as a private IT provider with recognized brand equity, Nesma is well positioned to take great advantage of the potential for growth, particularly now that Mitel 3300 platform is completing their CPE offering.
