Emerald Named to Sage Software Million Dollar Club

November 02, 2007

Emerald TC, a Sage Software business partner specializing in the manufacturing, distribution and healthcare industries, has been named to Sage Software’s Million Dollar Club for 2007.

The company achieved the award through sales of the Sage MAS 90, MAS 200, and MAS 500 product lines, Sage officials said, adding that “the award adds to the company’s other recent awards specifically for the MAS 500 product set: as Partner of the Quarter for the highest product revenue and as one of the Top 10 resellers of the year.”

Million Dollar Club honors are given to business partners who have exceeded one, two, or three million dollars in business across Sage Software’s product lines and products groups — including Business Management Division (BMD) Solutions (Strategic and Value Accounting, Sage FAS, and Sage CRM Solutions), and Industry & Specialized Solutions (Construction and Real Estate, HRMS, Payroll, and Non-Profit Solutions).

Nina Smith, Sage Software president, Business Management Division, said the software vendor’s Million Dollar Club achievers for 2007 represent “a group of successful business people who have embraced a continually changing marketplace by delivering the combined products, services, and support their clients need to succeed.”

Million Dollar Club winners will be recognized May 12-15, 2008 at the annual Sage Software Insights business partner conference at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Earlier, Sage Software announced the general availability of Sage BusinessWorks 50 Accounting version 8, the latest version of the company’s business management product. Enhancements include drill down screens designed to streamline processing and save time and support for the new Microsoft Vista operating system,

There’s also a Cash Account Register Report, described as a “reconciliation tool that displays details of all transactions that impact a cash account, and the ability for users to submit suggestions for future product improvements to Sage Software directly via Sage BusinessWorks.”

Sam Hunter, Sage Software senior vice president and general manager of the Value Business Unit, said the product’s Submit Enhancement Suggestions link “makes it easier for Sage BusinessWorks customers to collaborate with product.”

Company officials also highlighted the new alternating color scheme as improving readability and helping users “more easily review information contained within a single row.” They said the Easier Accounts Payable by Credit Card Processing feature lets users “record an invoice using standard invoice terms and later make a full or partial payment to the invoice using a credit card as the payment option. This allows for more accurate tracking and aging of accounts payable invoices.”
