MiRealSource Launches Real Estate Appointment Call Center Service

September 17, 2007

Real estate agents and brokers can now save both time and money thanks to a new real estate appointment center call service launched by MiRealSource. This Michigan-based real estate appointment center call service helps real estate agents and brokers make multiple appointments to show homes with just one phone call.

“MiRealSource is extending a helping hand to its brokers and agents by offering a unique high-tech, human-touch opportunity to increase their efficiency and lower overhead costs by having our appointment center handle the scheduling of appointments to show homes for buyers and sellers,” said MiRealSource CEO Virginia Bratt, in a statement.

The new call center will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and for 9- and 8-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday respectively.

MiRealSource thinks this is an important and effective service offering since the real estate market is forcing agents and brokers to do more to sell homes. Bratt said that given the company’s resources it can offer this service for only $5 per agent per month. The
service will become fully operational in October 2007 and has been offered to MiRealSource members through mailings and other promotional devices. More than 6,000 brokers and agents will benefit from this service.

The new appointment call center service will be provided by using an extended Listingbook product designed as an Appointment Service and will serve as a call center for participating brokers. An additional 20 staff members have been hired and trained to handle calls and schedule appointments for its members.

Pat Bourbeau and agent with Tappan Real Estate in Grosse Pointe said that she really loves using the Listingbook product from MiRealSource. For Bourbeau, Listingbook is like a personal assistant that helps coordinate her calendar, tasks and cuts down on paperwork.

“These services make agents more valuable—clients can tap into our expertise and we’re not spending huge amount of time doing market research or making multiple appointments,” Bourbeau said in a statement. “We have more time to focus on individual client needs.”

About nine months ago MiRealSource launched the Listingbook technology to better help brokers and agents. Ed Knight , of Realty Executives in Shelby Township, said the appointment center is an especially useful feature to couple with Listingbook.

“It’s a fantastic tool that will further help turn leads into sale,” Knight said in a statement. “e love Listingbook and applaud MiRealSource for the innovative approach to making our lives easier and more productive — everyone should have these tools.”
