"We are not looking now (at acquisitions). We are focusing on Arab countries and I think it will need time to come back...to be active again," Omran told reporters on the sidelines of a telecoms conference in Amman. VALUATION OF ORASCOM TELECOM'S ALGERIA UNIT STALLED: The valuation of the Algerian government of Orascom Telecom's local mobile phone unit has been delayed because of a disagreement about disclosing company data, Reuters has reported, citing two telecoms sector sources. Algeria's government hired law firm Shearman and Sterling in January to conduct the valuation and instructed it to complete the work by the end of May.
