Yael Designs Releases Modeco, a Modern Jewelry Collection

Jun 04, 2010 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Award-winning fine jewelry house Yael Designs (http://www.yaeldesigns.com)is proud to debut the Modeco Collection created through the exclusive partnership with renowned jewelry designer Vasken Tanielian.

Released at JCK Las Vegas 2010, the Modeco Collection (http://www.yaeldesigns.com)refashions the geometric aesthetic of the Art Deco period for the modern age. Sleek and contemporary, the Modeco look is altogether minimalist and playful. The Modeco Collection includes earrings and pendants made with 14kt recycled white gold, white diamonds and bright colored gemstone highlights.

Designed by renowned jewelry maestro and Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts teacher Vasken Tanielian and manufactured by Yael Designs, the collection is the first collaboration between the two jewelry leaders.

"I have had a great relationship with the people at Yael Designs," said Mr. Tanielian. "Working with good, honest people means a lot to me. The fact that Yael is one of a few companies that is doing well in this economy also says a lot about their leadership and ingenuity." Mr. Tanielian said he wanted to create a collection that speaks to the minimalist aesthetic of this generation. Modeco is thus simple, affordable and a great fit for both casual and dressy occasions.

"The unique designs of Modeco speak to Vasken's creative genius that I have personally long admired," said Yael Designs' CEO Yehouda Saketkhou. "Modeco is an exciting partnership for our company and we feel that it will expand the reach of our brand." Yael Designs prides itself on creating unique jewelry lines whose names are as evocative as the pieces themselves. The price range for Modeco Collection is $1,900 to $7,000. Settings come standard in white gold, but are also available in platinum and silver. The collection is available online at www.yaeldesigns.com and in select stores.
