Business Owners Benefits Association (BOBA) Co-Owners, Eric W. Barton and John Ballinger, Announce Launch of Expanded Member Services and Infrastructure

Business Owners Benefits Association (BOBA), a national member-based organization that uses the power of membership to leverage significant cost reduction and risk control opportunities for small businesses and non-profits, announces launch of expanded infrastructure and member services.

John Ballinger, recognized Chattanooga, Tenn.-based veteran, business owner and small business champion, conceived the initial BOBA concept and founded the association in 2007. As a recipient of BOBA services since early 2014, Eric W. Barton's small businesses realized substantial operating cost reductions exceeding $127,000 in annual insurance and fuel savings. Barton, fellow veteran and serial entrepreneur, saw the benefits of membership firsthand and shared in BOBA's overall vision which prompted him to acquire membership interest in the association in May 2015.

Barton's excellence in business growth strategies, paired with Ballinger's unrivaled understanding of small business needs and pain points, is propelling BOBA forward, making it a game-changer for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Barton and Ballinger are committed to BOBA's growth and continue to champion the best possible savings and most needed services for small businesses and organizations. Additionally, the association expanded its infrastructurein July 2015 by adding a corporate headquarter facility in Maryville, Tenn. with call center capacity to assist new and existing members on a national scale.

"I am excited to work alongside Ballinger and the BOBA team to tackle critical issues facing small businesses and non-profits in the U.S.," said Eric W. Barton, co-owner and CEO of BOBA. "Small businesses make up the backbone of the U.S. economy, it's time we joined together for the same buying power that large corporations benefit from on a regular basis."

Why BOBA? BOBA is committed to returning financial balance to those contributing the most to the U.S. economy. Essentially, BOBA is a one stop shop for members, eliminating the need to have multiple contacts for the many products and services required to operate small businesses and organizations.

BOBA is a single source delivering comprehensive solutions for:

  • Credit Card Processing
  • Energy Savings
  • 360° Insurance Solutions
  • Payroll & HR Compliance
  • Fleet Services
  • Legal Services
  • Parcel Delivery Oversight
  • Fuel Program
  • Small Business Funding

BOBA members are immediately assigned a licensed advisor who completes a full business evaluation to identify "pain-points" and prioritize issues. This evaluation begins a customized implementation of cost savings and risk control solutions based on the specific needs of each business and organization.

"Every day we see small businesses benefiting from the services BOBA provides. The association enables sustainable growth for business owners which in turn positively impacts the many employees and families behind the owners," says John Ballinger, co-owner and COO of BOBA. "BOBA's cost-savings and risk mitigation have exceeded even the association's initial expectations. Now with the launch of our expanded member services and infrastructure, we are confident the success stories will continue to increase and fuel membership growth which allows us to continue lowering costs on our services."
