Ricoh Americas Corp. Unveils Suite of AV Solutions at InfoComm13Jun 03, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Ricoh Americas Corp., a provider of data strategies and technologies that enhance information capture and management, said it is demonstrating to the AV industry new projectors that are ergonomically designed, cost-efficient solutions for the corporate, government and education settings. According to a release, Ricoh is introducing four new Desk Edge Projectors that provide exceptional image clarity and convenient versatility. They can be placed on the edge of a desk with cables attaching to the projectors' front, enabling the cables to be draped over the desks' edge and thereby keeping any cable clutter to a minimum. These projectors also can be ceiling mounted or placed on a desk top making them ideal for a wide range of meeting room, classroom and training room settings. In addition, Ricoh is introducing two new Short Throw Projectors that make it possible to conduct meetings almost anywhere at any time, because they deliver full-size, high-quality image projection even when placed within a few feet from the wall. Ricoh said the line of AV products support its overall mission to provide a portfolio of business information services to its customers. The products provide ways to capture information, process it (via the cloud or on the premises), and distribute it to the right people at the right time, whether through video projection, wireless transmission or another format.
