(NASDAQ: IKAN), a provider of advanced broadband semiconductor and software products for the digital home, announced its newest broadband technology solution, Velocity-3, a fully integrated Vectored VDSL chipset and software solution offering a leap forward performance for delivering broadband to the digital home. Ikanos' vectoring solution enables carriers to deliver bandwidth-intensive services such as high definition television, high speed Internet, bandwidth-rich cloud content access, Voice over IP and more at approximately 1/10th the cost of deploying a pure fibre solution to individual home.
