WPP Purchases EffectiveUI


Apr 06, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- EffectiveUI, a user experience (UX) agency focused on the design and development of Web, desktop and mobile applications that help brands better engage with their customers, announced that it has been acquired by WPP, a communications services group.



With a team in customer insight, UX design and user-centered development, the Company said EffectiveUI has helped companies such as Boeing, National Geographic and TIAA-CREF enrich the experience for customers interacting with their businesses through digital channels.

According to a release, the company was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Denver, Colo., with an additional office in Rochester, New York. EffectiveUI will operate as an independent company within WPP, with the ability to work in partnership with other WPP companies to provide UX services.
