NEW Honored by Walmart for Innovation


STERLING, Va. --(Business Wire)--

N.E.W. Customer Service Companies Inc. (NEW), the nation's leading provider of extended service plans, buyer protection services and product support, announced today it has received the Walmart Financial Services Innovation Award, its third award in three years from the national retailer. The company was recognized with the prestigious award at the annual Walmart Financial Services Supplier Summit Meeting held in June.

This annual award is presented to a Walmart Financial Services supplier who best demonstrates the overall ability to deliver innovation through new products, technological advances, groundbreaking processes and enhanced customer service models while exemplifying the Walmart culture. The award was presented by Jane Thompson, president, Walmart Financial Services. Thompson commended NEW for continually reinventing the Product Care Plan by successfully introducing a Disc Plan, which gives customers complete protection for their video games, DDs, CDs and computer software.
