North American Bancard acquires Point and Pay from VestaJun 16, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- North American Bancard, a payment solutions provider, has acquired Point and Pay from Vesta and has appointed Kevin Connell as the new president of Point and Pay. In his new role, Mr Connell will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company including product development, business development and sales and marketing. He served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Official Payments. Prior to that, he served at Discover Financial Services for 13 years in various senior level sales, marketing and business development positions. According to North American Bancard, the acquisition of Point and Pay gives an opportunity for the company to introduce electronic payments to domestic government and public sector businesses.
