2ergo acquires Wapfly Technologies


May 18, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- 2ergo Group, a British firm engaged in providing telecommunication software, application and development, has acquired Australia's Wapfly Technologies as part of a move to extend its global reach into the Asia-Pacific region.



Wapfly Technologies is engaged in the development of applications and mobile internet sites for the new generation of smart phones including the Google Android and Apple iPhone.

As a result of the acquisition, the group provides Australian Broadcasting Corporation with its mobile internet solution.


Neale Graham, joint CEO of 2ergo, said: "This is a significant deal for both businesses as we can offer each other real competitive advantages.
