Waratek Executive Joins Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) Board of Directors


DUBLIN and ATLANTA, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Waratek, the compiler-based application security company, announced today that its Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, James E. Lee, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Identity Theft Resource Center® (ITRC), a nationally recognized nonprofit organization established to support victims of identity crime.

The ITRC's Board of Directors is composed of individuals from a variety of backgrounds in the financial, cybersecurity, insurance, legal, and utilities sectors. The Board provides insight, guidance and advice on the direction of the company in order to fulfill its mission to support victims of identity theft and bring awareness to the issue.

Lee is an expert in data privacy and security, and previously served on the Board of the San Diego-based ITRC from 2005 until 2014, includng three years as Chair. Lee has also served as a leader of two efforts by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to address issues of data privacy and identity management.



Founded in 1999, the ITRC provides no-cost assistance to victims of identity crime and aims to broaden public education and awareness in the understanding of identity theft, data breaches, cybersecurity, scams, fraud, and privacy issues.
