India's nexGTv Application Launches Round-the-Clock Call Center for Customer Support

There’s good news if you're a user of multi-platform live TV streaming app nexGTv. There are currently about 3.5 million users of nexGTv in India, and that figure is growing.

The mobile television application offers the best of channels in India, plus video on demand content, allowing mobile customers to stay up to date on their mobile devices. Users have access to over 100 live Indian television channels, replay TV and video on demand. According to the company that builds the app, users don't need to depend on 3G network to view video content, since the nexGTv has a unique and innovative feature of adaptive-bit-rate streaming, allowing users to stream live television even on a 2G network.


The app is becoming so popular, India's TechTree is reporting that the increased number of viewers is bringing an increase in the number of technical difficulties. To try and address this, the company has now set up a round the clock customer support call center that will assist customers with technical difficulties while using the app. Prior to the launch of this call center, users had to make do with leaving comments on various tech forums and waiting for someone to respond.

On related news, TechTree is also reporting nexGTv set a record recently, receiving over 15 million views during the recently concluded India vs Sri Lanka cricket series. It has also claimed that the app was downloaded over 40,000 times on 24th July from Nokia's Ovi Store alone.
