Telanetix to Provide NAVIS Business Phone Service Connectivity for Contact Center

Telanetix Inc., an IP solutions provider offering telepresence and VoIP services to the SMB and SME markets, has signed an agreement with NAVIS, a nationwide provider of short term vacation rental solutions through its west coast-based contact center. Under the terms of the agreement, Telanetix will provide business phone service connectivity for NAVIS’s contact center.


NAVIS offers cutting-edge technologies, as well as proven insight into how to optimize the return on their customers’ vacation rental or resort hotel businesses. By combining NAVIS and Telanetix, it is possible for customers to capture more caller data, mine that data for more focused and targeted marketing, drive more calls and convert more of those calls to reservations.

"At NAVIS we use innovative software solutions, specifically targeted to our market segment, to deliver contact center service to our customers," said Kyle Buehner, CEO of NAVIS, in a Wednesday statement.

"Working with Telanetix's AccessLine division will enable us to supply customers with an underlying, nationwide telephony network for our call center traffic and extend the reach of our industry-changing technology."

With Telanetix’s AccessLine, Business T1 service is offered at a discount of 30 to 40 percent from that of traditional phone companies. The service includes local, long distance and supports toll free and international calling. The service also supports features such as fax mailboxes, unified messaging and follow me services.

"NAVIS's decision to base their Contact Center operations on our business communications services is another example of our growing success in the Contact Center communications segment," noted Tom Szabo, chairman and CEO of Telanetix, in Wednesday’s statement.

"This segment has a strong need for the feature-rich yet cost effective solution that our VoIP phone services can provide. With the NAVIS decision, we are clearly beginning to develop momentum and a reputation in this growing portion of the business communications marketplace."
