AltiGen Communications has announced that the company has optimized Polycom's complete portfolio of business-class VoIP phones. This means these phones can now be installed with AltiGen's entire product line.
Polycom’s VoIP based phones make voice communications effective, productive and offer high-quality IP phone solutions for companies of all sizes.
The advanced features that are offered with this interoperability include auto answer from client, answering device from client, Polycom phone group paging, busy lamp field, line park and do not disturb synchronization. AltiGen feature support on Polycom phones is available in AltiGen's MaxCS 7.5 software release
This means Polycom VoIP phones will now work seamlessly with work AltiGen's Cloud and premises-based MaxCS IP-PBX and Contact Center solutions. AltiGen will make use of Polycom's APIs to get features such as Centralized Admin, SIP TLS/SRTP Support, Multiple Call Handling Enhancements, Call control using MaxClient, Call control using phone device, Voicemail and MWI and Multiple Call Waiting Enhancements.
AltiGen provides numerous state of the art phone features. These features are now available on Polycom's VVX, SoundPoint and SoundStation series phones. These features are available when installed with AltiGen's MaxCS Private Cloud, Softswitch SaaS and premises-based solutions.
