Firstsource Celebrates 7th Anniversary and Recent Award Wins

Firstsource Solutions recently celebrated its 7th anniversary. Coinciding with this milestone is a major award win for Best Outsourced Partnership at the European Call Center Awards. To further its success story, Firstsource also announced a new recruitment drive at its two Belfast centers in Linenhall Street and Wellington Place. Firstsource Solutions is a leading provider of customized Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to clients within the Financial, Healthcare, Telecom, Insurance, and Media sectors.


In a statement, Stephanie Wilson, Firstsource’s executive vice president, Operations Europe, said, “Northern Ireland has been a great success for Firstsource’s business. We originally planned to create 1,000 new jobs when we started out here seven years ago in two centers. We have since doubled size with a workforce of over 2,000 and four centers in Belfast and Londonderry.”

Firstsource currently employs more than 2,000 staff across its four contact centers in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry. With the recent business growth, the company has consolidated its position as UK’s leading outsourced contact centre provider. It is also among the top 20 employers in Northern Ireland. By picking up the Award of Best Outsourced Partnership with BSkyB at the European Call Centre & Customer Service Awards, the company has once again displayed its success potential in the market. BSkyB and Firstsource will continue with their partnership run at Belfast and Londonderry.

In addition to recruiting customer service agents for its two Belfast centers, Firstsource will also be recruiting home-based agents. This will help the company is delivering improved service support to its telecom, media, and financial services sector clients.
