Voxeo's Cloud-Based Platform Powers Infracast's Messaging Solution

Voxeo, a provider of solutions that unlock communications products, has entered a partnership with Infracast, a company that develops customer-driven systems for implementing effective and multichannel communication strategies.


Under the new agreement, Infracast will help Voxeo’s secure on-demand, cloud-based facilities offer outbound messaging as part of its Enterprise Message Exchange (EMX), a hosted, Web-based application complying with high volume SMS, voice, e-mail and social media. The solution also supports fax communication between enterprises, their customers and staff members.

Solutions by Voxeo resolve challenges that hinder organizations from flexibly creating, managing, analyzing and optimizing their voice, SMS, instant messaging, Twitter, Web chat and mobile Web unified communication and self-service applications. Infracast made its foray into the SMS text delivery market through the U.K. Financial Services sector, and has now expanded its operations within a global customer base comprising of banks, airlines, emergency services and retail businesses. It manages more than 30 million messages every month on behalf of its corporate customers.

With the new agreement, Voxeo’s voice-based features have been incorporated into Infracast’s SMS and hosted e-mail messaging services, which provide enhanced multi-channel messaging capabilities to its customers.

Infracast aims at making its array of services able to support the development of complex and interactive multi-channel messaging solutions, and to incorporate outbound voice capabilities into its current core platform.. The company hopes it will be able to achieve both goals by having Voxeo as a technology partner.
