Alpha Recovery Deploys Hosted Debt Collection Solution from Latitude Software

February 15, 2011

Alpha Recovery Corp. has announced that it has deployed a hosted debt collection solution from Latitude Software, an Interactive Intelligence company. Alpha Recovery made this selection as a means to optimize customer service, minimize costs and realize a faster return-on-investment.

“When we launched our collection agency last year we knew we needed a full-featured, yet cost-effective solution that we could deploy quickly,” said Alpha Recovery Corp.’s CEO, Frank Woodhouse, in a statement. “We found just that in the hosted Latitude solution, which offered ease-of-integration, flexible licensing, and a comprehensive set of customizable features.”

The Latitude Center suite has been launched by Alpha Recovery to meet its call center needs. This suite is designed to streamline and manage the entire collection process, and to track collection agent goals and productivity. The company is also using Latitude Center to support all of its collection agents located at Alpha Recovery headquarters in Denver.

“Latitude Center’s intuitive user interface has enabled our collectors to get up and running fast,” Woodhouse said. “And because of Latitude’s extensive customer base, many of them already had experience using the product. This, combined with the suite’s open architecture for easy integration with our back office systems, has resulted in a faster return-on-investment compared to what competitive products provided.”

Alpha Recovery is also using Latitude Center to track multiple clients and fee rates, while also linking the major vendors and debtor accounts together. As a result, the collection process is streamlined for the maximum effect.

According to Woodhouse, Latitude Center has given the company open access to all system data, as well as tools for in-house administration. With this approach, the company’s administration team has been able to quickly and effectively serve clients by providing them with the most recent and accurate payment tracking information. At the same time, Latitude offers the ability to customize reports, which helps the company to meet the needs of a diverse client base.

Interactive Intelligence announced the acquisition of Latitude Software last fall. Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO, Donald E. Brown, said that this acquisition reflects one of the company’s ongoing growth strategies of using its strong cash position to add industry-specific applications and expertise -- a strategy Interactive Intelligence kicked off last year with the acquisition of insurance content management provider, AcroSoft.
