Altosoft Insight 2.1 Launched

In a bid to help organizations further improve decision making and performance, Altosoft, a provider of operational business intelligence (BI) solutions has released version 2.1 of Altosoft Insight, offering a "data warehouse alternative" and reducing the time and cost of usual BI projects.

With Altosoft Insight 2.1, customers are offered enhanced features like rapid dashboard development, real-time analytics as well as event monitoring and business process optimization capabilities.
The new offering focuses on delivering operational BI and targeting the core processes and unlike strategic or tactical BI approaches; it is able to support more users and more decisions.
The latest version includes accelerated dashboards which make it possible for customers to deliver reports and analytics in just hours, as well as a new easy to use, drag-and-drop toolset to make dashboard development and deployment especially speedy. New advanced features to improve operational performance including an enhanced incident management module complete with options for tracking, prioritizing and resolving incidents for "effective closed-loop operational process optimization" are also part of the latest release from Altosoft.
According to a news release, Altosoft Insight 2.1 has "optimized its analytical calculation engine to perform 120% faster than previously. This enables higher throughput, faster calculation of key performance indicators (KPIs), and substantially increases the product’s performance when used as an alternative to a traditional warehouse-based BI solution."
